Ok, that covers two of my projects! I'll be posting two more in a few days. You can see some different images being released on the blogs of my fellow DT members. I really think MSB is covering ALL the bases with this release. Cruise by on May 30th and see if they've got something for you!! :)
Even if you don't want to enter for a chance to win Dustin's blog candy, check out Post Pals. It's a great organization and I guarantee you'll be putting a smile on a special child's face when they get a card from you! :)
There are plenty more amazing images being released all month! Don't miss all the fun! You can also join in on some of the challenges on the MSB blog. The Create-A-Card contest gives you a chance to win an entire set of new digi stamps! The Saturday challenges are still going on too! Whew!! What an exciting month for MSB!! :)
**Check out the MSB blog today for some "Sugar Sweet Savings" on digital stamps. You gotta hurry though, this special only lasts until tomorrow (5/20)**
In honor of the event, I decided to share a card I made using a super cute MSB digi stamp. I made this card for a friend of mine who just recently moved into a new house. To be honest I never would have thought to make her a card until I saw this image. Here it is:I had to rework this card because my first attempt just looked a little "hectic", if that makes sense. Here is the original:
It's hard to tell from this picture, but I had originally stamped the background with the SU set "Sprinkles". It just didn't look right to me. So, in true scrappractical fashion I peeled the image off and slapped it onto the back of the cardstock and started over!:)
I've been trying to get used to embellishing my projects more. It's not easy for me because I am a CAS kinda girl. I think it has to do with the fact that I don't like to spend days working on one card. This one is a good blend. It's embellished but it didn't take me long at all.
Now if I can just remember to mail it out! :)
