MSB's First Ever Challenge and A Mother's Day Card

Modern Sugar Blvd is hosting their first ever challenge today! Yaaaa! Here is the card I made for the big event! I stamped the turquoise paper using my VersaMark ink pad. I cut the big, pink flower by hand. The smaller green flower I made using the SU scallop circle punch. The jewels are from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment and swirl images are from the SU set "I Like Your Style". The colored the cutie girl with my Bic markers and pop-dotted her. All the paper is SU.

The card is based on this sketch:You can join in too. You don't have to use an MSB image but they are too cute not to have anyway!! And right now the digi stamps are 50% off! You cannot beat that! The sale runs until tomorrow night. Here's the link if you want to check it out: http://passemoncardcompany.com/?code=MamaDay. Get all the details on the MSB Blog.

And just in time for Mother's Day; I finished a card using one of the beautiful new "Mama" images at MSB. The great thing about digital images is that you have your product immediately. So if you still need a card for Mother's Day, grab one of these and you'll have it finished in no time!! If you're looking for some last minute gift ideas or just some fun, check out MSB. You can get some awesome inspiration from the other DT members or upload your own amazing work!! Ok, that's enough plugging for one day! :)

Super Mom!

I found the link to a fun challenge on Crystal's blog (A fellow "Sugar"). InStyle Stamps is giving away a free digi stamp to be used for their Mother's Day challenge. Today is the deadline.

Here is the card I made with this great image:I found a cool comic book font online and used it for the "Pow" captions. All paper is SU except the patterened which is DCWV. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I colored the image with Bic markers. Image copyright of InStyle Stamps.

Hopefully this card inspires you to thank your "Super Mom". I know I'm blessed to have my grandma and great-grandma in my life. They are definately heroes in my book!!

Pictured here are: My 90 year old great-grandma, My 74 year old grandma, Me & 2 1/2 month old Colson (he's 2 now!). My mom wasn't there that day. We have 5 generations! We are truly blessed!!
