Impatiently waiting!

While I sit here stalking the MSB blog and waiting for the announcement of the DT winners, I will post some cards. :)I made this card for the CAS challenge on SCS. The challenge was to make a monochromatic card. I love green and I thought the white would really pop with it. I ran the background cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the "Textile Textures" embossing folder. The image is one of the free stamps I got from Inkadinkadoo. (See a few posts down). I traced over the flourish lines with a glitter dust pen to make them stand out a bit more. It can be somewhat challenging to make things "pop" on a monochromatic card. I liked this challenge though. At first I thought it might be impossible for me. It turned out to be super simple and fun!

This is a card I made as another open house sample. My party is this Saturday so I'm starting to feel the crunch. In reality I probably have enough samples, but my inner lunatic is screaming "make more, make more!!!".

This was a very simple card to make as well. The flowers were the hardest part, and that's saying something! I just cut them out and pop-dotted them above the wheelbarrow. I colored the wheelbarrow with PrismaColor pencils and glittered the flowers with clear stickles. The cardstock I used: Orchid Opulence (SU) and Creamy Caramel (SU). The stamp set is also from SU and it's called "Blooming with Love".

Well, that killed a little time. Not enough I'm sure, but it's something! Right!?
